A very nice place to have breakfast/brunch. A well stocked bar. Very well decorated place with lots of posters. The food is amazing. We tried waffle with fruit, syrup and sausages, Grits and chicken with waffles. For drinks we had iced tea and lemonade. Chicken and waffles was one of the best I ever tasted. The service was prompt and staff was very friendly and polite. I especially mentioned here our server Alyssa who served us with a beautiful smile and promptly. Would recommend this place to have a lazy brunch.
Really great brunch spot. Chicken and biscuits… chicken and donuts… grits! I feel like despite iowa being covered in corn, you rarely see grits on menus. This place knows what they’re doing. I’ve even been to a few of their events and had a great time - music, dancing, fun. Love the vibe - great spot to bring friends.
Went in for lunch and ate outside! Our server was the bomb and also helped us pick out a shirt for our daughter. Had lunch this time and was great! Also, excellent coffee. One of our favorite new restaurants

Food was really good. Service was quick. Place was clean BUT we had 2 people at lunch time and they charged a 20% gratuity on our bill. When we asked about the difference in the bill and the charge(get immediate alerts on charges to our debit card) the servers really acted like they had NO CLUE why there was more being charged on the card then on the receipt. Liars. They knew. So we left cash tip AND paid 20% tip on the card. We called our card and they told us what it was and only restaurant can add/remove gratuity charges.

Wasn't busy when we went, later in the morning. Staff was all very friendly and goofed around with our 2yr old off an on. Food came quickly but was sadly not even average at best. My wife, not a picky eater at all, didn't even finish half her meal. Eggs were all very dry. Sausage patties burned to not quite a hockey puck, but close. Biscuits and sausage gravy had almost no sausage in the gravy at all and lacking flavor. Atmosphere was decent, in a nice little strip downtown that they appear to be renovating and bringing to new businesses to. Price was not worth the food. Other places that are cheaper, with great service and much better food.
The waitress was absolutely amazing. The food was terrific. I ordered When Pigs Fly with grits which were the best grits I've had in a long time and my husband ordered chicken and waffles and he absolutely loved his food as well. We will definitely be going back.
Wonderful place for breakfast. Great atmosphere and delicious food. I recommend glazed and confused, lol.
